Hard Work Working Hard Without Him

Woohoo!! we are covering some distance!!

Today was 122km making a total of 572.39km. that takes us to Mozambique.

Thanks to my Mom who has managed to get us a map ready!

To start with, here’s our route through Africa – a simple 9138km 😜😱

So, we only have 8565.61km to go. But first, let’s go to Tanzania 🙂

Today my 7km movement consisted of a lot of hard graft moving paving slabs from one house to another and laying them down. It was full on and tough and my body is aching now.

It really made me remember my brother. And miss him more intensely for a moment or two! He was such a hard grafter and never shied away from getting stuck in. Somehow, he and my dad always seemed to be able to do anything.

I was looking for a specific picture of him doing the kitchen tiles in my first home and came across a load that I haven’t seen before. Of our dad as well as Gumby. Or maybe I have but it was like seeing them fresh.

I still struggle with seeing those eyes and their smiles and knowing that it’s only through memories captured in an image that we get to see them now.

Anyway, here’s Gumby doing my bathroom instead and Dad, Steven and Alan doing my mums garden many years ago…… I like that I was able to watch that time lol!

Love Bron xxx
